Russell Belinsky - Senior Managing Director
Mr. Belinsky is a Senior Managing Director and co-founder of Chanin Capital Partners. Mr. Belinsky has extensive experience in all phases of domestic and international financial restructurings and recapitalizations, including: mergers and acquisitions; corporate financings; and expert testimony. He has primary oversight for the firm’s advisory business. On October 31, 2006, Chanin Capital Partners was acquired by Duff and Phelps.

Currently, Mr. Belinsky is a member of the Los Angeles Bankruptcy Forum; the American Bar Association; and the California Bar Association. Mr. Belinsky is an Advisory Board member of the K&A Restructuring Register, an industry register of the top 100 restructuring advisors in the United States. Mr. Belinsky is also a Director of Direct Ventures, a privately-held direct marketing company, and is an active member of the Santa Monica Chapter of the Young President’s Organization.
Mr. Belinsky is the co-author of "Beyond Bankruptcy," an article that discusses capital structure issues in bankruptcy and restructuring transactions. "Beyond Bankruptcy" was published by Business Law Today, an American Bar Association publication. Mr. Belinsky is a frequent speaker on reorganization and recapitalization topics.
Prior to co-founding the predecessor Chanin Capital Partners in 1990, Mr. Belinsky was associated with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, specializing in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and restructuring transactions. While at Skadden, Arps, Slate Meagher & Flom, Mr. Belinsky worked on a variety of transactions, including bankruptcies, exchange offers, leveraged buyouts, proxy contests and negotiated acquisitions.
Mr. Belinsky earned his J.D., cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center (and served as The Topics Editor to The Tax Lawyer). He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, magna cum laude, from Wayne State University.

Skip Victor - Senior Managing Director

Mr. Victor has extensive experience in all phases of corporate restructurings and recapitalizations including mergers and acquisitions, corporate financings, court testimony, and other advisory services. Mr. Victor has primary oversight of the firm's advisory business. On October 31, 2006, Chanin Capital Partners was acquired by Duff and Phelps.
Mr. Victor’s recent clients include various representations in the reorganization and/or restructurings of a broad range of companies including Calpine Corporation, Home Interiors & Gifts Inc., Le Meridien Hotels & Resorts, Mirant Corporation, Nellson Nutraceutical, Nextel International, Orange County, California, Pacific Gas & Electric, Purina Mills, Redback Networks, Regal Cinemas, Satelites Mexicanos SA de CV (SatMex), SGI (Silicon Graphics), SpectraVision, Stone & Webster, Tricom and The Washington Group.
Mr. Victor currently serves on the Board of Directors of Duff and Phelps. Mr. Victor is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Los Angeles Child Guidance Center and Price Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at the UCLA Graduate School of Management. Mr. Victor has been a guest lecturer on several reorganization panels including seminars on Bankruptcy Taxation, and the UCLA Graduate School of Management.
Prior to joining Chanin Capital Partners, Mr. Victor was Vice President in the Corporate Finance Department of Drexel Burnham Lambert, Inc., specializing in bankruptcies and restructurings. While at Drexel, Mr. Victor worked on a number of transactions including LBO's, exclusive sales, new financings and exchange offers.
Mr. Victor received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Cornell University and his Master of Business Administration from the UCLA Graduate School of Management, where he received the Dean's Award for Outstanding Service.

Peter Corbell, JD - Managing Director
Mr. Corbell is a Managing Director of Chanin Capital Partners. While at Chanin, Mr. Corbell has worked on a wide range of restructurings and recapitalizations, as well as mergers and acquisitions. Current and recent engagements include Alamosa Holdings (Sprint PCS affiliate), American Cellular Corporation (Dobson Communications), American Classic Voyages, Assisted Living Concepts, Berkline/Benchcraft, Global Crossing, HQ Global Workplaces, iPCS (Sprint PCS affiliate), IWO Holdings (Sprint PCS affiliate), Lake at Las Vegas, Leap Wireless International, O’Sullivan Industries, Performance Transportation Services, Pliant Corporation, Premier Entertainment (Hard Rock Casino Biloxi), Regent Las Vegas, Scotia Pacific/Pacific Lumber, Suncom Wireless, Talon Automotive, Trump Casino Holdings and Washington Group International.
Prior to joining the Firm, he was an Associate in investment banking at Credit Suisse First Boston where he worked on a variety of mergers and acquisitions as well as debt and equity capital raising transactions. Mr. Corbell also has worked in several countries in Asia, including in China, Singapore, Malaysia, and Taiwan.
Mr. Corbell earned his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Southern California and is a member of the California State Bar. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in East Asian Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Brian J. Cullen - Managing Director
Mr. Cullen is a Managing Director at Chanin Capital Partners. While at Chanin, Mr. Cullen has been involved in a variety of restructurings and recapitalizations, including in and out-of-court debtor and creditor-side restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, valuations opinions and capital raising activities. Recent and past engagements include Allied Holdings, Collins & Aikman, Cerplex Group, Legacy Estates, Loral Space & Communications, Mercury Interactive, RCN Corporation, Trump Casino Holdings and Wolverine Tube.
Mr. Cullen was formerly Co-Founder and Partner of Aria Partners, a special situations investment fund. The fund’s investment process is characterized by fundamental analytical research and invests primarily in equities and distressed securities. While with Aria Partners, Mr. Cullen was responsible for all aspects of fund management, including evaluation and analysis of investment opportunities, risk management and capital-raising.
Prior to founding Aria Partners, Mr. Cullen worked as a Vice-President at Chanin Kirkland Messina LLC. In addition to working on various restructuring and recapitalization transactions, Mr. Cullen was a member of the Firm’s valuation committee while the Firm served as expert to the Department of Justice (DOJ). Mr. Cullen was responsible for providing valuation advisory services to the Planned Benefits Department of the DOJ, primarily involving contested ESOP transactions.
Earlier, Mr. Cullen worked in the Investment Banking department at Credit Suisse First Boston. Mr. Cullen began his career in the High-Yield Group at BankAmerica Securities.
Mr. Cullen currently serves as a Board Member of Allied Holdings, Inc, the largest company in North America specializing in the delivery of new and used vehicles. Allied generates approximately $850 million in annual revenues.
Mr. Cullen earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Kevin Fagan - Managing Director
Mr. Fagan is a Managing Director of the Mergers and Acquisitions Group at Chanin Capital Partners. He has represented buyers and sellers in M&A transactions and provided valuations and fairness opinions to companies, boards and special committees. In addition Mr. Fagan has extensive capital raising experience, having served both as a principal and an agent in a wide variety of debt and equity financings.
Mr. Fagan’s recent clients include Neff Corporation, CTM Group, Sunterra Corporation, NTL, Strike Holdings, Superstar Netlink Group, Wickes, J.L. French, Trend Technologies and Weblink Wireless.
Prior to joining Chanin Capital Partners, Mr. Fagan was a Vice President in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group at Prudential Securities Incorporated. During his tenure at Prudential Securities, he executed numerous transactions including buy-side and sell-side transactions, leveraged buy-outs, reverse mergers and Morris Trust transactions. Previously he was a Director in Prudential Financial’s U.S. Private Equity Group, where he was responsible for sourcing, executing and monitoring direct private equity investments for Prudential’s General Account. On behalf of Prudential, Mr. Fagan held Board positions at Country Road Communications and AIR-serv Holdings.
Mr. Fagan received his A.B. in Economics, cum laude general studies, from Harvard College and his Master of Business Administration, graduation with distinction, with concentrations in Operations and Information Management and Entrepreneurial Management, from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

Mark E. Rubin, CPA - Managing Director
Mr. Rubin is a Managing Director at Chanin Capital Partners. He has more than 20 years of experience advising on restructurings, recapitalizations and corporate finance engagements. Recent Chanin Capital Partners assignments include American Pad & Paper, Atlantic Express Transportation, Borden Chemicals and Plastics, Buster Brown Apparel, Delphi Corp., Fine Host Corporation, Goss Graphic Systems, Harry Winston Jewelers, Manhattan Bagel Company, Mississippi Chemical, Paragon Trade Brands, Raintree Resorts, Sunterra, TV Filme, and Zeta Consumer Products.
Mr. Rubin founded and initiated the operations of Price Waterhouse Publications LLC, the firm’s industry and company research subsidiary. As President, he directed a team of financial analysts covering publicly traded retailers and distributors in various sectors including food, drug, mass merchandisers, specialty apparel and accessories, full-line department stores, office supplies, home improvement and consumer electronics.
Earlier, Mr. Rubin was a Senior Manager in Price Waterhouse’s Corporate Finance and Restructuring Group, where he led or participated in various restructuring assignments including Cordiant (Saatchi & Saatchi), Drexel Burnham Lambert, Feuer Leather, First Republic Bank, HHL Financial, Leslie Fay, Payroll Express, and Seven-up/RC Bottling Co. of Southern California.
Mr. Rubin earned his Master of Business Administration at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration at the State University of New York at Buffalo. Mr. Rubin is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute.

Brent Williams, CPA, CA - Managing Director
Mr. Williams is a Managing Director in the Restructuring Group of Chanin Capital Partners. He has more than 15 years of experience advising companies and their stakeholders in distressed situations. Mr. Williams has advised clients across a broad range of industries both in and outside of the court process in the United States and Canada, as well as in Europe. He has recently been involved in the following cases: Anchor Glass, Comdisco Inc., Encompass Services Corp., Focal Communications, Galvex Holdings, Gentek, Inc., Pan American Hospital, Song Networks, Stelco and Washington Group International.
Prior to Chanin Capital Partners, Mr. Williams served as a Director at the New York office of Zolfo Cooper, LLC where he developed and implemented financial and operational restructuring plans in turnaround and distressed situations, in addition to the preparation of debt and equity valuations of distressed companies. Mr. Williams was involved in the following assignments; American Medical Response, a wholly owned subsidiary of Laidlaw Inc., Corrections Corporation of America, Claridge Casino and Hotel, Harnischfeger Industries and Apex Global Internet Services.
Earlier, Mr. Williams was a Vice President at a restructuring firm located in Ontario, Canada, and a Senior Manager at KPMG Inc., where he was responsible for planning and executing financial and operational restructurings, and receivership/bankruptcy engagements. Additionally, Mr. Williams was involved in the Corporate Finance Division of these companies, where he specialized in the area of divestitures.
Mr. Williams has a Bachelor of Science degree (Honors) in Business Administration from Carleton University in Ontario. He is a current member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (“CA”) and was a practicing Trustee in Bankruptcy in the Province of Ontario. Mr. Williams is also a Certified Public Accountant.
