Kevin Fagan - Managing Director

Mr. Fagan is a Managing Director of the Mergers and Acquisitions Group at Chanin Capital Partners. He has represented buyers and sellers in M&A transactions and provided valuations and fairness opinions to companies, boards and special committees. In addition Mr. Fagan has extensive capital raising experience, having served both as a principal and an agent in a wide variety of debt and equity financings.

Mr. Fagan’s recent clients include Neff Corporation, CTM Group, Sunterra Corporation, NTL, Strike Holdings, Superstar Netlink Group, Wickes, J.L. French, Trend Technologies and Weblink Wireless.

Prior to joining Chanin Capital Partners, Mr. Fagan was a Vice President in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group at Prudential Securities Incorporated. During his tenure at Prudential Securities, he executed numerous transactions including buy-side and sell-side transactions, leveraged buy-outs, reverse mergers and Morris Trust transactions. Previously he was a Director in Prudential Financial’s U.S. Private Equity Group, where he was responsible for sourcing, executing and monitoring direct private equity investments for Prudential’s General Account. On behalf of Prudential, Mr. Fagan held Board positions at Country Road Communications and AIR-serv Holdings.

Mr. Fagan received his A.B. in Economics, cum laude general studies, from Harvard College and his Master of Business Administration, graduation with distinction, with concentrations in Operations and Information Management and Entrepreneurial Management, from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

Tom Anastassiou - Director

Mr. Anastassiou is a Director in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group at Chanin Capital Partners. He has extensive experience in executing M&A and corporate finance transactions for public and private companies.

Prior to joining Chanin Capital Partners, Mr. Anastassiou worked exclusively on advisory and capital raising assignments for a Los Angeles-area investment banking boutique. Representative clients included venture capital firms and early-stage technology, biotech and healthcare companies.

Earlier, Mr. Anastassiou was a Vice President at Bear, Stearns & Co., where he worked on a broad range of investment banking transactions in the consumer, healthcare, technology, industrial, and financial institutions sectors. Representative clients included: City National Bank, Equifax, NetBank, Schering AG, Warnaco and Wells Fargo, among others. Prior to joining Bear Stearns, Mr. Anastassiou worked in the private equity division of General Electric Investments and with small entrepreneurial real estate partnerships.

Mr. Anastassiou holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics summa cum laude from the University of Southern California, a Juris Doctorate from Northwestern University School of Law, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago. Mr. Anastassiou is a member of the State Bar of California.

Donald J. Jacobs - Director

Mr. Jacobs is a Director in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group of Chanin Capital Partners. He has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. Mr. Jacobs has led client execution teams across a broad range of situations including: buy-side and sell-side transactions, recapitalizations, spin-offs, leveraged buyouts, strategic alternative reviews, defense advisory assignments, private placements, and fairness, solvency and valuation opinions. His investment banking expertise covers a diverse range of industry sectors including general industrials, consumer products, healthcare, business services, chemicals, technology, and aerospace and defense.

Mr. Jacobs was formerly a Director at The Silverfern Group, a boutique investment bank, where he was involved in all aspects of M&A and capital raising for middle-market clients. Previously, Mr. Jacobs was a Director in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group at UBS, and also served its predecessor, PaineWebber, as an Associate in the Mergers & Acquisitions group. Earlier, he was a Senior Associate at Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin, providing M&A and financial advisory services to middle-market companies. Past representative clients include: Aramark Corp.; El Paso Energy Partners, L.P.; Entegris, Inc.; Interline Brands; Parthenon Capital; Ramsay Youth Services, Inc.; Thomas Nelson, Inc.; and Union Carbide, among others.

Prior to his investment banking experience, Mr. Jacobs worked at Emcor Group where he acquired direct operational experience by coordinating the financial planning process and assisting in the development of the corporate strategic plan. Mr. Jacobs began his career with Arthur Andersen, providing audit and advisory service to emerging growth companies.

Mr. Jacobs is a Certified Public Accountant and earned his Master of Business Administration degree, Beta Gamma Sigma, from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from The College of William and Mary.
