CHANIN CAPITAL PARTNERS ENHANCES M&A, RESTRUCTURING GROUPS WITH
ADDITION OF THREE SENIOR-LEVEL BANKERS
LOS ANGELES, CA, September 27, 2006 -- Chanin Capital Partners, a specialty investment bank, announced today that it has enhanced its merger and acquisitions and restructuring groups by adding three senior-level professionals: Brent Williams, Managing Director; Donald Jacobs, Director; and Thomas Anastassiou, Vice President.

Mr. Williams, who will be a Managing Director in the Restructuring Group based in New York, returns to Chanin from Saybrook Capital. He has more than 15 years of experience advising companies, creditors and other interested parties in distressed situations. Mr. Williams has advised clients across a broad range of industries both in and outside of the court process in the United States and Canada, as well as in Europe. Earlier, Mr. Williams worked for Zolfo Cooper.
Mr. Jacobs will join Chanin as a Director in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group, based in New York. He has extensive experience across a broad range of M&A and corporate finance situations, and most recently served as a Director at The Silverfern Group, where he advised middle market clients in M&A and capital raising engagements. He has also worked in the M&A group of UBS, its predecessor PaineWebber, and Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin.
Mr. Anastassiou will be a Vice President in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group, based in Los Angeles. He has extensive experience in executing M&A and corporate finance transactions for public and private companies. Previously, Mr. Anastassiou worked on advisory and capital raising assignments for a Los Angeles-area investment banking boutique and for Bear, Stearns & Company.
